Mark has started a 16-month filming project inspired by the book he wrote with Douglas Adams, Last Chance to See. He will be co-presenting the series with Stephen Fry.

He presented the weekly half-hour programme Nature on BBC Radio 4 for many years, as well as many mini-series for BBC Radio 4. He provided the daily Environment News bulletin for Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC Radio 1 and is a frequent contributor to many other radio and television programmes about wildlife and conservation.
