- Some 20 years ago, Mark joined forces with the late Douglas Adams to search for some of the most endangered animals on Earth. The subsequent best-selling book, Last Chance to See, has inspired a BBC-tv series, to be broadcast in 2009. Co-presented by Mark and Stephen Fry, filming kicked off in January 2008 in the Amazon, and their hunt for more endangered creatures has continued since October in Kenya, Uganda and Madagascar. Wild Wonders of Europe – an unprecedented celebration of Europe's nature.
